Eco Shavings (Pty) Ltd specializes in the supply of Pine Wood Shavings to the Agricultural market, either to be used as an Animal Bedding in the Poultry, Piggery or Equine industries or to be used as a growing medium in the Horticultural sector.

Shavings are a waste product to the wood milling industry and Eco Shavings have a number of contracts or strategic agreements with various wood mills in the Mpumalanga Highveld and Lowveld region for the removal and purchase of their waste product.

The type of shavings varies considerably from mill to mill and there is no industry standard for the classification or bagging/baling of the product. Wood shavings emanate as a waste product in the wood milling industry but may also be manufactured directly from the plaining of pulp quality timber.
